Downtown Toronto Condo

Today we were looking for a 2-bedroom, 2-bath, downtown Toronto Condo. The asking price for these condos was from $275,000. to $407,000.

Once again we started at an old favourite, 220 Victoria Street Condos , a very central location next to the former Pantages Theatre and just around the corner to Massey Hall and the huge Eaton Centre. Actually Frans Restaurant(Diner) is just around the corner as well, one of the very few remaining of a chain of Toronto Family Restaurants. Just north of this location is Ryerson University.

Moving on to Yonge and Bloor we stopped at 30 Hayden, a small street east of Yonge and south of Bloor. This location is ideal for the TTC subway access to both Toronto Subway lines and close to the larger stores on Bloor St. Westand all the smaller stores running down to Dundas on either side of Yonge St.

Just around the corner and along Bloor St West we came to 388 Bloor St East Condos in a desirable Rosedale Location  on the North side of Bloor. This is a great neighbourhood and its very close to another favourite of mine, 300 Bloor St East. If one wanted to take a nice walk, you would pass Rogers head office, Manulife Insurance with the great golf-course-like front lawn and the Bay, Holt Renfrew and all the other great shops along Bloor St west.

Finally we ended up at King and Jarvis, an area that has undergone a lot of change for the better.  Its within walking district to the financial centre of Toronto, with the famous St Lawrence Market  just a few short blocks away.. The bonus here are the upscale Restaurants and Lounges in the beautiful historic St Lawrence Hall area like Hiro Sushi, Biagio Ristoranteand Kultura Social Dining and Lounge. To top off this great location is The historic St Lawrence Marketwith all its fresh produce and the many restaurants that are on the Esplanade and Front Streets.

Several great neighbourhoods that include not only the best of restaurants and shops but also a very good choice of locations for your very own Toronto Condo.

There are even more great Condo choices on my Toronto Real Estate website.

I almost forgot, after the condo showings we ended up at Frans for dinner, we always enjoy the menu and service offered there.
