Toronto’s Highest Condos

Toronto’s Highest Condos

Several new Toronto Condos are ready to join the Toronto growing Skyline. Most are Hotel-Condominium combinations like the Trump Tower, a 70 storey building in downtown Toronto.

Most of these larger Condos are south of Bloor Street and include residential as well as office space. The Shangri-La, Ritz Carlton Toronto, Signature Tower, Maple Leaf Square, Trump International Hotel and Tower, Sapphire Tower and the Bay and Adelaide Center are just some of the new projects in the planning/construction phase.

These developments conform to Toronto’s intensification plan to have higher density in the urban areas of the GTA to curb future urban sprawl. These larger buildings are going up at key locations of the transportation network.

An example of the new push skyward is the Five-star Shangri-La, measuring 65 storeys, 214 meters high with 220 hotel rooms and 353 condos. At this height the Shangri-La will be the 10th-tallest building in Toronto.

Trump International Hotel and Tower leads as number one of the tallest Condos with 1Bloor St E as number 2, Signature number 3 and the Shangri-La as number 4.

These newer developments are turning Toronto into Skyscraper City and will forever change the Toronto Skyline.
